- Boil a large pot of salted water, add the rotini pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook bacon strips until crispy and golden brown for about 8-10 minutes. Remove and chop into pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked rotini pasta, chopped bacon, and diced tomatoes. Stir gently to mix.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and milk/buttermilk. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until coated.
