  • 1 tsp Salt Salt your pasta water generously.
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water, add the rotini pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook bacon strips until crispy and golden brown for about 8-10 minutes. Remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked rotini pasta, chopped bacon, and diced tomatoes. Stir gently to mix.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and milk/buttermilk. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until coated.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper into the salad, mixing well. Adjust seasoning as necessary.
  6. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 20 minutes.
  7. Before serving, add the chopped lettuce and gently toss to combine.
