- Preheat your toaster or oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the everything bagel in half and toast it for approximately 3 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and crispy.
- Once the bagel is toasted, spread a generous layer of chive and onion cream cheese over both halves.
- Layer crispy bacon strips evenly over the cream cheese, followed by romaine lettuce and thick slices of fresh tomato, seasoning with kosher salt and black pepper.
- Gather all the layered fillings from the bagel and chop them into chunky pieces.
- Introduce diced avocado into the chopped mixture and gently combine everything by chopping again.
- Mound the chopped filling mixture onto the bottom half of the toasted bagel and press down gently with the top half.
- Serve your California BLT Chopped Bagel immediately and garnish with additional avocado slices or paprika.
