  • 1 tablespoon Dried Culinary Lavender Infuses a lovely floral note; leave it out if you prefer a more traditional lemonade.
Lemonade
  • 1 cup Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice Adds zesty brightness; bottled juice works in a pinch.
  • 3 cups Water Mix this with your syrup and lemon juice for the perfect lemonade.

Method
 

Making the Syrup
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of fresh blueberries, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring for about 5 minutes until blueberries burst.
  2. Remove from heat and add 1 tablespoon of dried culinary lavender. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Carefully strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl and allow to cool to room temperature.
Preparing the Lemonade
  1. In a large pitcher, combine the cooled blueberry lavender syrup with 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 3 cups of cold water. Mix well to create the lemonade.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
Serving
  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour the Blueberry Lavender Lemonade over the ice, filling to about three-quarters full.
  2. Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh lavender and a few lemon slices.
