- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin.
- Mash 3 ripe bananas in a bowl until mostly smooth, leaving some lumps.
- Combine 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1 large egg, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract with the mashed bananas.
- In another bowl, sift together 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, and 1 teaspoon baking soda.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gently until just combined.
- Optionally fold in 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips into the batter.
- Fill each muffin cup about three-quarters full with batter.
