Step-by-Step Instructions for Churro Cheesecake Bars
  1. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar with 2 tablespoons cinnamon. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat 8 ounces of cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add in 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, mixing until uniform.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a baking pan with non-stick spray. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the bottom.
  4. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press seams to form a sheet. Place dough in the pan and spread the cream cheese filling over it.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay over the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown and filling is set.
  7. Remove from oven and cool completely in the pan before slicing.
