  2. Blend the cottage cheese in a food processor until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the blended cottage cheese, granulated sugar, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract; mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and baking powder.
  6. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just incorporated.
  7. If using, fold the chocolate chips into the batter.
  8. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
