Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Place boneless chicken breasts into the slow cooker and sprinkle taco seasoning over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  2. Add the cream cheese on top of the seasoned chicken breasts, spreading it evenly.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix with cream cheese and taco seasoning.
  5. Warm the tortillas until soft and pliable, either on a skillet or in the microwave.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a spoonful of the shredded chicken mixture onto each tortilla, then top with cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce.
  7. Garnish with cilantro and green onions, and serve with optional sides.
