For the Hot Honey Dip
  • 1 cup Cranberries Fresh or frozen works perfectly.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Swap with maple syrup for vegan option.
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes Adjust according to heat preference.
  • 1/2 cup Water Softens cranberries.
  • 1 tsp Orange zest Optional, brightens flavor.
For Garnish
  • to taste Fresh thyme or parsley Adds freshness.
  • to taste Sesame seeds or crushed pistachios Optional, for texture.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes. Add olive oil and let it heat until shimmering.
  2. Carefully add cubes of halloumi and feta into the hot skillet, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and golden.
  3. Transfer the crisp cheese bites onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  4. In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, honey, water, chili flakes, and optional orange zest. Simmer over low heat for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Arrange the crispy halloumi & feta bites on a serving platter and serve alongside the hot honey cranberry dip.
  6. Garnish the platter with fresh thyme or parsley and sprinkle with sesame seeds or crushed pistachios if desired.
