  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until well-combined.
  2. Zest two fresh lemons and then juice them, ensuring no seeds get into the mix.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker in an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle the spice blend over the chicken and evenly distribute the minced garlic and lemon zest.
  5. Pour the lemon juice over the chicken, followed by dotting with butter.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken is fully cooked.
  7. Once cooked, place the chicken on a serving platter, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley.
