Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by placing the chicken breasts securely in your crockpot.
  2. Pour the cream of chicken soup and sour cream over the chicken. Sprinkle in the diced onion and minced garlic.
  3. Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 5 to 6 hours, or high for 4 to 5 hours.
  4. Carefully remove the chicken from the pot and shred it using two forks.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and mix in the crumbled Ritz crackers along with the Italian seasoning.
  6. Spread the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture in the crockpot. Cook on high for an additional hour.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
