- In a skillet over medium heat, add the sausage links and cook for about 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Remove, slice, and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix, milk, and eggs. Stir until smooth, about 2–3 minutes. Set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with baking spray. Pour half of the pancake batter into the dish, then layer half of the cooked sausage pieces and half of the shredded cheese on top.
- Pour the remaining pancake batter over the first layer, then add the rest of the sausage pieces and top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving. Drizzle with maple syrup and slice into squares.
