  • 3 tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce Can use tamari or coconut aminos.
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil Use sparingly.
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated Sugar Optional or substitute for low-carb.
  • 1 each Green Onion Optional garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Optional for garnish.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 1-2 minutes. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart, and sauté for about 5 minutes until browned. Season with sea salt and black pepper.
  2. Add the diced onion and grated carrot to the skillet, stirring them into the beef. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the onion is translucent and the carrot softens.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped cabbage, ground ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir and sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds as desired. Serve warm.
