Preparation Steps
- Wash and thoroughly dry the cherry tomatoes. For added flair, slice them in half and drizzle with olive oil. Let them soak in the flavor for a couple of minutes.
- Open the package of small mozzarella balls (bocconcini), gently drain any excess liquid, and pat dry to avoid sogginess.
- Assemble the bites by skewering a cherry tomato, followed by a fresh basil leaf, and then a mozzarella ball on each toothpick.
- Arrange assembled bites on a serving platter. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Cover and refrigerate for about 10-15 minutes to let flavors meld together.
