  2. Grate the zucchini, then squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. Melt butter, let cool slightly, then whisk in brown sugar.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt into wet mixture; fold until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in zucchini, chocolate chips, and walnuts.
  7. Pour batter into baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes; check doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then lift out and cut into squares.
