Cooking Instructions
- Cook the rice according to the package instructions, usually around 15-20 minutes. Bring water to a boil, add rice, lower the heat, and cover to simmer until fluffy.
- In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add the lean ground beef and cook for 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart until browned.
- Once the beef is cooked, drain excess fat if necessary. Stir in brown sugar, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, ginger, and garlic, mixing well.
- Return the skillet to medium heat. Add chopped red bell pepper and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the peppers are tender-crisp.
- Serve the beef mixture over the cooked rice, drizzling extra sauce on top. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
