Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Chicken: Trim excess fat from the chicken thighs and pat dry. Set aside.
  2. Make the Marinade: Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until sugar dissolves.
  3. Marinate the Chicken: Add chicken thighs to the marinade and coat well. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
  4. Preheat Your Cooking Device: Preheat your oven to 425°F for baking, or prepare a grill or skillet.
  5. Cook the Chicken (Baking Method): Heat an oven-safe skillet and add chicken. Bake for 25-30 minutes, basting with marinade.
  6. Cook the Chicken (Grilling Method): Lightly oil grill grates, add chicken, and grill for 6-8 minutes per side.
  7. Cook the Chicken (Stovetop Method): Add oil to skillet, add chicken, and sear for about 4 minutes on each side.
