Preparation Steps
- Begin by mincing 1-2 cloves of garlic until finely chopped.
- Dice 2-3 ripe peaches into ½-inch pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Halve and pit 1-2 cups of cherries and add them to the bowl.
- Finely chop a handful of cilantro and add to the bowl.
- Remove seeds from 1 jalapeño and finely chop it, then add to the bowl.
- Finely dice ¼ cup of red onion and add it to the bowl.
- Juice 1-2 limes and zest one lime, adding both to the mixture.
- Gently fold all ingredients together to blend flavors.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt and fold the mixture once more.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving.
- Serve at room temperature with tortilla chips or on grilled meats.
