- Carefully husk the fresh corn, removing both the silk and outer leaves. Cut each cob in half if desired, then arrange them in a large baking dish or aluminum tray.
- In a medium bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Mix in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and optional red pepper flakes until combined.
- Pour the garlic butter sauce generously over the arranged corn, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese generously over the corn.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
