  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 2 cloves minced garlic fresh
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
For the Fish
  • 2 fillets halibut fresh fillets
For Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, melted butter, olive oil, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until well incorporated.
  3. Allow the crust mixture to rest for about 5 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the halibut fillets on the sheet, spaced evenly apart.
  5. Press the crust mixture onto the top of each halibut fillet, aiming for a thick layer.
  6. Bake for about 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the fish flakes easily.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
