Step-by-Step Instructions for Apple Fritter Bites
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, blend melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Then add the egg, vanilla extract, and applesauce, whisking until fully combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently. Carefully fold in the diced apples.
  5. Using a tablespoon, scoop out portions onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for approximately 10 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
