Ingredients
  

For the Tea Base
  • 2 cups Water Essential for brewing the tea.
  • 2 bags Black Tea Provides robust flavor; can swap with loose leaf.
For the Mango Purée
  • 2 cups Ripe Mango Natural sweetness; can use frozen mango cubes.
  • 2 cups Water For boiling the mango.
For Sweetening
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Adjust sweetness to taste; can use agave or sugar.
For Serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a kettle. Once ready, remove it from heat and add 2 black tea bags, steeping for about 10 minutes.
  2. While the tea is cooling, combine 2 cups of diced ripe mango with 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Boil then simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the fruit to create a purée.
  3. Strain the mango purée into the brewed tea, removing any fibrous bits. Add honey to taste and stir until dissolved.
  4. Allow to cool for 15 minutes or refrigerate. Serve over ice and garnish with mango slices or fresh mint.

Notes
