  • 2 tablespoons Crème Fraîche or Heavy Cream or full-fat yogurt
For the Eggs
  • 4 large Large Eggs the freshest for optimal results
  • 100 grams Fresh Goat Cheese or feta or any soft cheese
For Flavoring
  • 2 tablespoons Chives and Parsley or other herbs like oregano or thyme
  • to taste Salt and Pepper for seasoning

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and boil water in a kettle.
  2. Grease four 4-5 ounce ramekins with softened butter or olive oil.
  3. Spoon about two tablespoons of crème fraîche or heavy cream into each ramekin.
  4. Crack one large egg into each ramekin without breaking the yolk.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled fresh goat cheese, salt, and pepper on each egg.
  6. Place the ramekins in a baking dish and fill with hot water halfway up the sides.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 14-16 minutes for runny yolks or 16-18 for softly set yolks.
  8. Carefully remove from the oven and serve immediately in the ramekins.
