Step-by-Step Instructions for Pizza Grilled Cheese
  1. Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  2. Lay two slices of the buttered bread, buttered side down, on a cutting board. Spread marinara or pizza sauce, add mozzarella cheese and toppings, and place remaining bread on top, buttered side up.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Cook the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
