Preparation Steps
  1. Warm 1 cup of milk to 110°F, mix with instant yeast and sugar, then let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, cocoa powder, and red food coloring. Add yeast mixture, butter, egg, and buttermilk; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 7-8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
  5. Mix brown sugar, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon in a small bowl to prepare the filling.
  6. Roll the risen dough into a rectangle, spread melted butter, and sprinkle filling evenly.
  7. Roll the dough into a log shape and cut into 12 slices.
  8. Place sliced rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30-40 minutes until puffy.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Whisk together glaze ingredients until smooth and adjust milk for consistency.
  11. Cool the rolls for 5 minutes, then drizzle with glaze and serve immediately.
