Equipment

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until shimmering. Carefully add in 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 6–8 minutes or until the beef is browned and no longer pink, stirring occasionally for even cooking.
  2. Once the ground beef is browned, push it to one side of the skillet. Add one diced onion and 2 minced garlic cloves to the empty side, cooking for about 3 minutes until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant.
  3. Incorporate 2 cups of broccoli florets into the skillet, gently stirring to combine with the beef and aromatics. Sauté the broccoli for 1 minute.
  4. Sprinkle in salt and black pepper to taste, along with 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly coated with seasoning.
  5. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for 5–7 minutes.
  6. Lower the heat to medium-low, then gently stir in 1/2 cup of heavy cream, ensuring it blends smoothly with the beef and vegetables.
  7. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the mixture, then cover the skillet for 2–3 minutes.
  8. Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle a pinch of red pepper flakes. Gently stir everything together.
  9. Once combined and heated through, serve your Keto Hamburger Broccoli Skillet hot.
