Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat and sauté the sliced kielbasa for 5–7 minutes until browned.
  3. Add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed and sauté the diced onion for 3–4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, heavy cream, paprika, salt, and black pepper, and mix until smooth.
  5. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom, followed by half of the kielbasa, onion, garlic mixture, and cheddar cheese.
  6. Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients and finish with the remaining cheese on top.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  9. Let cool for about 5–10 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
