Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Lavender Milk Tea
  1. Boil and steep the lavender. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of dried culinary lavender. Cover and steep for about 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the milk. Pour 1 cup of your choice of milk into a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low until warm and steaming, avoiding boiling.
  3. Strain the lavender infusion. Use a fine mesh strainer to pour the lavender mixture into a pitcher, discarding the dried flowers.
  4. Combine tea and milk. Pour the warm milk into the lavender infusion and stir gently until well combined.
  5. Sweeten to taste. Gradually add honey or sugar while stirring, tasting to achieve desired sweetness. Optionally, add a splash of vanilla extract.
