Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add lemon juice and lemon zest to the cream cheese and mix until well combined, about 1 minute.
  3. Sprinkle in powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and fluffy, approximately 2 minutes.
  4. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream to soft peaks, about 2-4 minutes.
  5. Gently fold the whipped cream into the lemon and cream cheese mixture in three batches.
  6. Spoon the mousse mixture into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  7. Garnish with whipped cream, lemon zest curls, fresh berries, or crushed cookies before serving.
