  • 2 bags Black Tea Bags Use loose leaf tea for more depth

  • 1 cup Ripe Mango Diced, fresh or frozen

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Mango Iced Tea
  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags, allowing to steep for 10 minutes.
  2. In another saucepan, add 2 cups of water and diced mango. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the mango into a smooth puree.
  3. Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the tea, pressing down to extract all the sweet liquids.
  4. Stir in honey to taste while the mixture is warm, mixing until fully incorporated. Let cool to room temperature.
  5. Fill glasses with ice and ladle the Mango Iced Tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mango slices or mint leaves if desired.
