Step-by-Step Instructions for Mango Iced Tea
- Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags, allowing to steep for 10 minutes.
- In another saucepan, add 2 cups of water and diced mango. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the mango into a smooth puree.
- Strain the mango mixture into the pitcher with the tea, pressing down to extract all the sweet liquids.
- Stir in honey to taste while the mixture is warm, mixing until fully incorporated. Let cool to room temperature.
- Fill glasses with ice and ladle the Mango Iced Tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mango slices or mint leaves if desired.
