  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional

  • 6 each Slider Buns Can swap for lettuce wraps

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Slice the boneless, skinless chicken breasts into 2-3 inch pieces to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss the chicken pieces until well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook the marinated chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. While chicken cooks, prepare the glaze by combining maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium heat.
  5. Cook the bacon in a separate pan over medium heat until crispy.
  6. To assemble, toast the slider buns if desired, spread glaze on the bottom bun, add chicken, drizzle more glaze, add bacon, cheese, and greens, then cap with the top bun.
