  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill Substitute with parsley or fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Can substitute with lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano Can use Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika Substitute with cayenne or omit for milder flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin Coriander can be used as alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust according to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper White pepper can be used for milder flavor

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed onion and garlic with baby spinach, ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until uniformly blended.
  3. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ½ inch thick.
  4. Heat the remaining olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties in batches for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve warm garnished with dill or Greek yogurt.

Notes
