Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x4 inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a stand mixer, combine 1/2 cup of softened salted butter and 1 cup of white sugar. Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup of milk. Mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Gradually mix into the wet batter until just combined.
