- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch cake pans.

- Gradually add powdered sugar until frosting is fluffy and smooth.
- Assemble the cake by frosting the top of the first layer and placing the second layer on top.
- Finish by frosting the sides and top of the cake with cream cheese frosting.
