  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup agave nectar is an excellent vegan substitute
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil olive oil is a lighter option

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced ripe mangoes, shredded green cabbage, grated carrot, sliced red bell pepper, and thinly sliced red onion.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the lime juice, honey or maple syrup, and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss everything together using tongs or a large spoon.
