  • 12 pieces Frozen Potstickers/Gyoza pork, chicken, or vegetarian options
For the Vegetables
  • 1 cup White Button Mushrooms shiitake or baby bella are great substitutes
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets can swap for snap peas or bell peppers
  • 1 cup Green Beans replace with asparagus or sugar snap peas

  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil or avocado oil
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce (Reduced-Sodium) use tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar can replace with apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar/Honey agave syrup is an alternative
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger (Grated) use ground ginger in lesser quantities
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 1/4 cup Cold Water

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking cornstarch and cold water until smooth. Then add soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sugar, and grated ginger. Set aside.
  2. Slice the vegetables: chop broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, green beans, and onion into uniform pieces.
  3. Cook the potstickers in a hot skillet with sesame oil and olive oil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Add water, cover, and steam for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove potstickers. In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms for 3-4 minutes until tender, then add broccoli, green beans, and carrots, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Return the potstickers to the skillet, drizzle with sauce, and gently toss everything. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce is bubbling.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy with jasmine rice or quinoa.
