Step-by-Step Instructions for Irish Pub Burgers
  1. Gently break apart the ground beef in a large mixing bowl and shape into four patties with a thumb indentation.
  2. Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt on both sides of each patty and let them rest for about 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat, place the patties on and cook for 4-5 minutes, flip, and add cheddar during the last minute.
  4. In a separate pan, heat oil and add onions, cooking until caramelized, about 10-12 minutes.
