Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by thinly slicing the flank steak against the grain. Place in a Ziploc bag with cornstarch, seal, and shake until coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Add beef slices in a single layer and sauté for 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, honey, and cornstarch for the teriyaki sauce.
  4. Pour the teriyaki sauce into the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and ensure it is well-coated with the sauce.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving hot over rice or noodles.
