  • 1 tablespoon Organic Raw Cane Sugar/Palm Sugar Can use brown sugar or agave.
  • 2 tablespoon Water Helps combine sauces.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Thai Basil Tofu
  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Crumble tofu and coat with corn starch, salt, and black pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
  2. In a wok, heat avocado oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic, chopped red Thai chilies, and onions. Sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add baked tofu and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Mix soy sauces, vegetarian oyster sauce, sugar, and water in a bowl. Pour over tofu in the wok and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  5. Fold in fresh Thai basil until wilted, about 1-2 minutes. Serve hot over rice, optionally topped with a fried egg.
