Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by lightly seasoning the chicken with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, vinegar, and optional red pepper flakes.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it.
  4. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until chicken is tender.
  5. For a thicker sauce, remove chicken, mix cornstarch and water, stir into the sauce, and simmer until thick.
  6. Return chicken to the slow cooker, toss in sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
