- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of your cubed French bread in the prepared baking dish, loosely packed.
- Scatter half of the softened cream cheese and sliced strawberries over the bread layer.
- Add the remaining cubed bread on top.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the layered bread, pressing down gently.
- Let the dish rest for 15 minutes at room temperature to absorb the flavors.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
