  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper Adjust according to heat preference
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
Mac and Cheese Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups Whole milk 2% milk can be used for a lighter version
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Ground mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat the skillet by adding 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with ground black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  3. Cook seasoned chicken for 6-7 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 6-7 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Add honey, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard to the skillet and stir well. Let simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Coat chicken in the sweet and spicy sauce for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Boil salted water and cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions, then drain.
  7. Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour to create a roux, then gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
  8. Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese to the sauce until melted, then season with ground mustard, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.
  9. Combine pasta with cheese sauce and serve alongside the Sweet and Spicy Honey Pepper Chicken.
