Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Place 2 to 2.5 lbs. of fresh salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper. Arrange the drained pineapple slices around the salmon.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together ½ cup sweet chili sauce, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and ¼ cup pineapple juice.
  4. Pour the prepared glaze over the salmon fillet and the surrounding pineapple slices, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, then switch to broil and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes to achieve charred edges.
  6. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, and serve.
