  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free options
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar apple cider or rice vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil for nutty fragrance
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha or red pepper flakes for heat
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Ginger

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of oil. Place chicken thighs in the skillet, skin-side down if skin-on. Sear for 4-5 minutes until browned.
  3. Flip the thighs and cook for another 4-5 minutes until golden and cooked halfway through. Remove from pan.
  4. Lower the heat and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Mix honey, soy sauce, and vinegar in a small bowl. Pour this into the skillet, scraping the browned bits off the bottom.
  6. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet and spoon the glaze generously over them. Simmer for about 8-10 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
