Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken and Rice Casserole
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, Lipton onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, and water. Stir in the uncooked Minute Rice along with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and pour the chicken and rice mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  4. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. After 45 minutes, remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm, optionally with chicken gravy.
